Aproaching 65 and probably my biggest investment decision to make.
"Only" my life savings to buy an annuity, a once only investment, once you're in, you're in for life!
Who to turn to, well after some seraching I chose a local IFA and registered with Age Partnership.
Two months later, no useful advice forthcoming from the IFA, Age Partnership meanwhile were on the ball and after some simple question and answer sessions they got on with finding the best annuity quotation for my requirements.
Sign over the rights to access my savings details and they got on with it and the deal was sorted within a few weeks, which includes the Christmas holiday period.
Job done, very satisfied and friendly as well.
No meerkats needed.
