Amazing people.

I've ordered 2 bikes from them in the last 6 months. The first goes like a dream, but has now left my care for that of my father.
I ordered a second, bigger, bike which was to be delivered by Yodel (who are the worst yet most widespread carrier). Yodel, being incompetent have (unsurprisingly) badly fumbled the delivery. I contacted Bikes2U to enquire about a resolution to allow us to bypass Yodel. Within 20 minutes, they phoned me, explained the situation and we worked out a resolution.
Top notch service all round.


On the fence.

On the one hand, they have all the bike parts I'll ever need and the staff are always helpful and willing to part with a little advice on bike maintenance.

On the other, trying to get them to do work on the bike themselves is an absolute chore. Long waiting times despite nearly empty schedules and the work is too often of questionable quality. One particular example is when I took my bike in for a yearly once-over (I do regular maintenance myself) and they replaced my chain. That night, cycling home from work, the chain snapped in the middle of a busy junction.

Just Eat

Always a good bet.

If there's ever a need for a pizza or a burger, Just-Eat has your back. The website is clear and easy to use as well.
The only downside, in my opinion, is that the support line is only open until 2300. On the, admittedly rare, occasions I've had need of it (usually due to unrecorded delays from a busy vendor) they've always been really helpful though.

The end of a love story

I always used to love going into Game. They always had what I wanted and the staff knew their stuff. Of late, however, they've been slipping badly, with poor availability and damaged stock. This was best highlighted when the cancelled ALL Mass Effect pre-orders shortly before release. Even worse, they deposit was refunded only as store credit.


Always stellar.

The staff are always friendly, helpful and smiling. And the food, while a little dearer, beats other supermarkets hands down. Especially the bread.


Complete failure

Having paid for Next Day delivery, I was unimpressed when they failed to deliver the next day, or the day after, or the day after....
When I phone to track it, the call centre in Manchester has none of the numbers needed to actually put you through to people who might help, and the website is no help either.

Out of 10 deliveries they've handled, only 1 showed up on time. THey also lost one and broke another. In my opinion, stick to <external link removed> services.
