not ready out the box
First purchase in the [link] range and its not as good as i had hoped. Machine marks on the back are obvious and at this price i was expecting a polished finish. The chisel is sharp though.

We always aim to give the best service possible and as we are one of five Lie Nielsen dealers in the UK we are VERY careful to protect our reputation.
With regard to your issues, Lie Nielsen ships directly from their factory in the USA and then we send their tools out exactly as we receive them. Lie Nielsen produces tools to the highest standard so they can be used out of the box, immediately.
However if you feel that the Lie Nielsen chisel was not as you expected we would be more than happy to issue you a refund.
