I ordered two Callaway Tour Authentic Gloves on Thursday 7th February, having called them beforehand to ensure said gloves were in stock. Later that day, I received an email notification saying they had been dispatched.
It is now the 19th of February, and still nothing has arrived. I have called their "customer services" department a couple of times, and have been given the brush off on each occasion, saying that they will not do anything until at least 15 working days has passed. If they are going to quote a delivery period of 2-4 working days, then they should be prepared to take action from the 5th working day.
It is a shame, as I have used them a few times before, and despite encountering fairly pedestrian delivery times, it has never been as bad as this, and I have always at least received my goods eventually. A very poor show.
Update... The 15 days passed, still no gloves, but the refund was actioned promptly, and my money has been returned. As a result, my initial 1 star rating has been increased to 4.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great site, and I have used them in the past without issue, but I found the lack of initial concern on their part when I first contacted them about my missing items rather disappointing.
Ordered some Biotherm Homme toiletries on Friday afternoon, and they were delivered Tuesday morning. Very impressive, especially as they were sent from Sweden. Really good value for money on a lot of most products, although strangely, some are way more expensive than in the UK even thought they're from the same range. Free international postage if you spend over £45 is a really good deal.

I phoned through an order on Saturday, but was told that the Prada shades I wanted were out of stock in the required size. I was promised that they would call me as soon as they came in (Tues or Wed). I have heard this sort of thing before, so treated their promise with a certain degree of scepticism. True to their word, I was called on Tuesday morning by an incredibly helpful lady called Helena, to confirm that they were once again in stock. I promptly ordered them with their free next day service. Unfortunately I had an issue with UPS, who decided not to stick to their next day guarantee, but this is no fault of the shop. When I collected them from the UPS depot I found that I had been mistakenly sent the wrong size. I need the shades for my holiday, so really needed them for today. I got on a train to their shop in Southend, and they were kind enough to give me the correct pair, AND reimburse me for my train fare! Brilliant! The shades are awesome too. Overall a brilliant shop, great staff, and I will buy all my shades from them from now on.
I was looking for some Elemis items and found this shop on Google. It's a shop based near High Holborn in London. I have been in there and I can guarantee it exists!
It's a really good website, with some great and unusual brands. I ordered my items on Thursday evening, and received my items via Parcelforce24 on Monday morning. Really pleased with them, and would definitely use again.
For years I have used Mankind to purchase toiletries, and I will continue to do so, but unfortunately they didn't stock an item I required, and these people did.
I was slightly concerned by going somewhere else after being conned by the lowlives at www.sospecial.co.uk but fortunately bathandunwind were excellent.
I recieved my goods the next working day, and cannot fault their service at any time.
I've been using Mankind.co.uk for about 3 years now. In this time I have placed about 13 orders, totaling around £1,500 in total value.
I have never had any problems with them at all. They despatch their goods exactly when they say they will, and they always arrive when they're supposed to, and in perfect condition thanks to the great packaging.
Last week I ordered an item which it turned out was faulty. From looking at the box you'd have never guessed that to be the case, so Mankind were in no way to blame. I gave their customer services department a call Friday afternoon, and they said they'd send out a replacement immediately. Imagine my delight when the item turned up at 9am on Saturday morning... not only had they sent it immediately, but they had also paid for Royal Mail Special Delivery on a saturday (not cheap!). I've never known such great service from a web based company.
Since my previous review, I have been contacted by sospecial, who have apologised for the problems with my order. I was told that the product had been dispatched (even though I no longer wanted it). As a result, they said I could keep the product, and they would also process my refund request. I received my refund today.
Overall, I am pleased with the outcome. It has the potential to be a really great site, but it seems that you need to push very hard to get anything done.
