Very disappointing

The flowers I received for Mothers Day included 12 pale pink tulips. Unfortunately the stems and leaves are yellow and the flowers wide open, the whole lot ready to be thrown away. The narcissi are fine. The flowers were in a damp holder but the stems were completely dried up, trimming the stalks has brought no improvement as basically the tulips are dead.
