Avoid!! Avoid !!! Avoid !!

My DeDetrich oven broke down just before Christmas. I contacted Repaircare who sent an engineer out within the week. Enginner said we needed 3 parts and would also order a thermostat as part of the repair as a matter of course. 2 weeks later no news, contacted their Engineering dept. who said the parts are obsolete. I was devasted that I had to buy a cooker before Christmas and the expense involved in replacing it. I decided to contact the DeDetrich manufacture directly who informed me that the parts were not obsolete and were readily available. I contacted repaircare and informed them at which point they started to get very rude saying that I was not speaking the right people or manufacture etc. etc. I spent another week or so trying to convince them that the parts were not obsolete and spent ages waiting for my calls to be returned. It ended with me contacting the DeDetrich direct, speaking to the Executive Director who was kind enough to send me an email confirming that the parts were available and listed the part nos. I forwarded this onto Repaircare who then finally agreed to send an engineer out. Received an email confirming the date. Took the day off work and no one turned up !! Engineer finally came with the parts 4 days before Christmas. He then again started to say that they have not given him all the parts as one of them are obsolete. I insisted that he replaces the parts that he had with him which he did. I am pleased to say that my cooker started to work, engineer was surprised and said it won't last. We got through Christmas dinner and it's still working !! A hell of a lot of stress, plenty of time wasted on the phone and days off work. This company looks really good on the website but they are totally incompetant and lack any understanding of customer care.
