Why couldn't I have found out about ironmongery-direct years ago?
I ordered 2 blacksmith cranked door bolts over the internet early one evening. They were delivered the following mid-afternoon! Brilliant service, 10/10.
The bolts were fairly expensive (£14.95 each + vat ) but they are excellent quality and look as if they were forged by a blacksmith! They look the part, especially for my old property.
The web-site was very good with lots of options and choices. It was also very easy to negotiate. It was far better than all the others that I searched, including B & Q !!!!

Best deal I ever had
I hired a Seat or similar. The car (Seat) was in excellent condition, it carried four adults and all our luggage with plenty of space. My only critique is that it wasn't a high enough powered one, probably about 110 horse power,so you had to work the gears as it struggled a bit on pulling power in all gears.
Overall it was fantastic value for what it cost, somewhere around £112 for two weeks!!!! Half the price of other companies.
I was a little concerned when dropping the car off at the airport that there was no-one there to check it over. You just had to post the keys through the office letter box. Overall, a very good deal!!
