I chose to order from the site as it offered the best price for the item I was after. The vendor's communication was excellent and the item was posted very promptly.

A good experience overall
I'm happy to say that my experience was a positive one with this company. I had read about problems other people had encountered with their orders and so knew I was taking a risk by buying from them.
I ordered a specialist camera lens. The price at SE obviously caught my attention first, as it was better than other suppliers on the internet. Whilst the lens didn't come through in the 2-5 day window that I was originally notified of, it did arrive shortly afterwards (8 days total delivery time). Furthermore, my chasing emails to the company were all dealt with within 24 hours with a proper and informative response.
The information provided on the "my account" page of the website was not particularly useful, as it provided limited information and didn't seem to be updated regularly. However, once SE had gave me confirmation of product dispatch, I was able to track the item very accurately (obviously though, this is through a separate company).
So in summary:
Good points:
- Great price
- Good customer service via email
Average points:
- Item delivered slightly outside of promised timeframe
Needs improving:
- "My account" page on website could provide clearer information, and didn't seem to be updated quite in line with the actual order status
