Excellent choice - good service - ok prices - Dissapointing PSU!

This is my fourth purchase from PCS and my first laptop. I am a developer and want to be able to compile complex applications quickly. I purchased the Vortex III and applied a fairly high spec. This was a lot of money but I felt the price was competative and made the purchase.

Expected delivery time for laptops was 5 to 7 working days and it was delivered to me on the 10th day. Ordinarily this would not be a major problem but I was due to fly to Nigeria on the 12th working day so I was a little worried and did not have as much time as I would have liked to set up my development environment before I flew.

The Power Supply for the Vortex III chassis is MASSIVE! :-( I know this is a desktop replacement but come on, The laptop is a reasonable size and weight for a big 17" machine but that power supply is like nothing I have seen before and takes travelling with the machine from "awkward" to "a joke". Really.... it is embarrassing!

The machine is super fast though - my first SSD... lightening!
