I found Glasses Direct gave me and, more recently, my daughter a great service. Sample frames within 48 hours of requesting, and completed frames well within their target times. A bit fed up their phone inquiry line hours are less friendly to working folk, like no Saturday's. With my prescription being so complicated and her's so simple its a good contrast, and the savings were immense - I estimate around £250 across both purchases, even more if you say we got two pairs of glasses each, and that saving is against only one pair each. If you give it a try I hope you have a similar good experience
I continue to use Tesco as it is close and I have a reward card BUT the pressure for profit is, in my view, having a real impact on customer service with my local store (Altrincham) having understocked shelves, too many 'home delivery trolley's, and too few staff too often; although the staff who are there work hard to offer a good degree of customer service.
Initially loved Moonpig, but now find the cards are much the same, with the personalisation very predictable. Find myself using it less
I use E bay to buy quite a bit and occasionally sell. It's important to 'practice' before bidding, follow the advice to check seller ratings, and be sure they have sold more than a few items - sad experiences of losing some £'s but have to share responsibility as I did not follow my own advice to never send payment first except through pay pal.
I'm a regular user and very happy with most parts of the service - I do however wish that the lowest price items were easier to find.
I learned of the service through the FSA web site. I experienced the advice given as thoughtful and tailored to my needs with a good level of consideration about my personal circumstances. The time scales given were a little optimistic, but manageable. Lee was personable and responsive throughout. Thank you
