I am absolutely disgusted by the level of service from 'Britain's leading Bed Specialist' HA!! What a complete utter joke!! Doesn't even deserve one star!! If I had my way they would have a big fat 0!!
I ordered my bed and paid upfront back in September when the sale was on. Biggest mistake of my life! Oh yes they put me on the order form for a months’ time. Fair enough I thought that's usually about right.
A month came and still I hadn't had a phone call from the delivery service. So we called them up and they said that they would check, they called us back and confirmed I was on the list and that they would be here the next day.
So my mum waited in all day as I had a prior engagement. And guess what? Still no bed arrived.
So my mum called the actual store up where I had ordered it from and spoke to the branch manager. Bearing in mind that it's not like its ten minutes away from my house so I couldn't just nip in.
The woman said she would get on to them for it and call us back, which she did, surprisingly!!
She called me back and said there had been a problem moving warehouses and it would be delayed a couple more weeks.
I wasn't happy about this as this would be December time right near Christmas!!
I agreed or I knew I'd be waiting until well after Christmas!!
Still no call weeks later, so we called them again and had no luck as no one was answering.
One day we were driving near the bed place so I went in store to complain and after she was trying to get through to them for about half an hour!! She organised for it to be here a week later!! I'd waited long enough!! I think at this point I had been patient enough.
Guess what?! STILL NO BED!! I was fuming!! In to the store I went again!! The woman recognised me straight away!! She rang the delivery company and was on the phone for like half an hour!!
She told me my bed had been embedded, which means delivered!!!!!! Now they really were taking the Mick!!! Why would I be standing there if I had it?!?! Absolute idiots!! Yes the woman was apologetic but that just wasn't enough. She made another call and apparently the bed was now out of stock in the colour I had ordered. She said they would get some more in stock in a couple more weeks, I still wasn't happy. But she made another delivery date and yet again kept apologising.
Six months I've waited and finally it's here, but that isn't the point. Their lack of customer service, contact, and the delivery people's manners is an absolute disgrace.
Seems like I'm not the only unhappy customer according to what I've read on here!!
My advice to anyone reading this is simply: DO NOT ORDER FROM DREAMS!!!
I don't know about Dreams, More like NIGHTMARES!!!!
