they can never tell you when it will be delivered

Was told to expect my delivery 1 week after ordering it. Phoned them up on the Thursday that they said it would be delivered and they told me that it hasn't been sent yet but that they would arrange next day delivery for Friday. Took time off work that Friday to be there to take delivery and no delivery. Contacted them late Friday afternoon to ask what was happening and they told me it was in transit with the courier. Was told they would contact the courier and get back to me before 18:00 hrs. Noone phoned back. Contacted them on Saturday and was told that the item was never with the courier and it hadn't left the workshop yet. They were unable to tell me when it would be delivered. Spoke to someone on Monday and was told they had a backlog and it would be up to two weeks before they could deliver it. Asked them to try and make delivery this week if possible please given the lies I had been told so far. They said they would but no delivery that week. In fact I contacted them again the Thursday of this week and they told me it was going out with the courier tomorrow and to expect it monday or Tuesday. They tell me that I will get an email sent to me as it goes out. Monday arrives and no email on Friday or today to say it is being delivered. Phoned them at about 17:00 and I am told someone will phone me back. Just as usual no-one phones me back. This company will almost never phone you back when they say they will. That has been my experience so far anyway. This has amounted to more than 2 weeks of inconvenience to myself now trying to find out what is happening so that I can be there to take delivery. It has involved lies and deceipt that have led to me taking unnecessary time off work. Clearly you might want to take my advice very lightly considering all the positive remarks. Sadly I have nothing positive to say. My advice; avoid them like the plague.
