When I originally joined Cokezone it was possible to be truly rewarded for your loyalty, with the possibility of trading in your points (1 per can) for games consoles, mp3 players, games and dvds. Now for the same amount you used to be able to get a games console for, now all you can get is a coke branded t-shirt! How can the value of 300-400 points drop from the worth of a games console worth over £150 to a t-shirt, which can be picked up for less than £15 in lots of stores?!
They took these high end rewards, saying that 'the consumers didn't want them' and that they'd replace with them 'mid-range rewards' such as shopping vouchers, dvds and games for 150pts. Empty promises.
Other countries Coke loyalty schemes, run and set up by the same company offer them true rewards, and reward loyalty.
