Within 3 days of contacting this company and providing card details nearly £1400 of fraudulent transactions were made against my account. All my other transactions up to 3 months previously have required BarclaySecure verification. I would advise you to be extremely wary.

Purchased a PC Case and power supply at a good price. Arrived within 48 hours. Good packaging. No problems. Would recommend.
I have dealt with this company on five occasions and their products, pricing and delivery have been faultless. To date I have not needed to contact customer services so could not comment on this.
I ordered a Canon 7d on 22 Feb. I'll let you know how the experience goes on a daily basis from now.

22 Feb pm - Order placed, Barclaycard. £1119. In stock. 2-5 working days delivery advertised. Confirmation email received. Order status 'Processing'
23 Feb pm - Order Status - 'Processing' - Checked Barclaycard. Money taken from account. Advertised price of item reduced by £10 on website.
24 Feb pm - Order Status - 'Processing'
25 Feb pm - Order Status - 'Processing'. Rang helpline to check on status. 45 minute wait advised. System advises if you put phone down and call back within this time you will be remembered and re-instated in the call queue. Rang back. Remembered me and advised of 6 minute wait . Rang back after 3 mins. and advised of 25 minute wait. Rang back after 20 minutes and advised lines closed. This was 3-27 pm. Lines advertised as closing at 4 pm.
Email 1 to SE in the evening suggesting that £10 reduction in price could be reflected in the bill.
26 Feb - Order status 'Processing' - No response to email 1
27 Feb - Order status 'Processing' - No response to email 1
Email 2 to SE requesting latest delivery status (2pm)
28 Feb - Order status 'Processing' - No response to emails 1 or 2.
1 Mar 5pm- Order status 'Packing' - Response to email 1 received stating goods will be despatched late today or tomorrow latest. No mention of £10 difference in price since order but delivery upgraded to next day. This effectively answers Email 2 and suggests that the goods should be received 3 March latest.
8pm - Order status 'Packing' - Received email stating goods despatched. Courier site DPD advises goods collected at 5pm. Expect delivery sometime 2nd March.
2 Mar - Order status 'Shipped' - Goods arrived at approx 11-20am which was pretty much as advised by the courier website. The battery is now on charge for the first firing up. All contents seem to be in order. Underside bears CE mark.
Following some basic testing, camera seems fine.
Summary: OK,Let me state that I have no affiliation with the company and I am only telling it as I see it.
The goods arrived only one day late and in good condition. You really should not expect any less. I saved about 10% on UK prices and I am quite satisfied with that.
I was not aware at time of purchase that this was a Hong Kong based firm and the IOW address threw me. This should be more evident on the website.
Checking the web after the purchase,it was frightening to read some of the reviews but rather than panic and cancel I decided to give SE a fair crack of the whip.
I think I would be a little concerned if I needed to make that warranty call. It just seems a little too remote and not particularly clear. Are the engineers in UK or HK? If HK why not set up an agreement with a UK service? Again this could be made more clear on the website.
In stock to me means available at the UK site. It seems to me that it would have arrived within the 2-5 days suggested had that been the case. If I am told 2-5 days, I expect 2-5 days.
It is usual for UK setups to debit your account when goods are despatched. The taking of money so quickly suggests that HK suppliers goods need to be paid for up front and that SE have little capital to cover this event.
This alone sets customers alarm bells ringing and was extremely disconcerting.
I will purchase from this company again but until they come clean about delivery dates and suchlike I will limit my purchase price ceiling. I would give 4 stars based on this purchase as it's turned out well for me but there are definitely improvements to be made and an email from SE concluding the purchase process suggests that they are trying. (I quite like triers!)
