I have a debt to asset ratio of 0.9%
Yet they didn't let me have one touch on the basis of my credit.

appalling

I opened an account.
Bought a book.
Then I bought a printer worth over £500.
Amazon blocked the order wanting me to fax (what is that?) over all my bank details. I tried to find Amazon's telephone number, but couldn't. Googled it and found it eventually. Had a long, long conversation with a lady who didn't seem to realise that you are helpful to customers especially in a recession. Bought the printer in less than two minutes on eBay.
