No room for tomorrow, not a situation you want to be in

I made a reservation with laterooms.com based on previous reviews. I received a confirmation, email, etc. I only called the hotel by chance, to confirm check-in time, to find out that they have absolutely no rooms. I do not understand how can laterooms make reservations for hotels without availability, I've used Agoda, venere, kayak, orbitz, and I have never had such an issue. I guess you want a bargain, you end up paying more. I hope my credit card does not get charged, which would trigger another headache. The city was Prague, Jecna Residence.
