I ordered two bottles of Connemara single malt late on a Thursday. I received an email on the Friday to tell me it was being processed for despatch and I would receive a further email letting me know when it was dispatched so that I could track the delivery and be at home to sign for it. The parcel arrived the following Tuesday (luckily I was at home) and the email telling me it had been dispatched was sent on the Thursday. As it was, it didn't matter but this is not good practice. Hopefully my experience was a one off glitch not normal procedure. It would have qualified for 5 stars if not for this.
That said, the product was at an exceptionally good price, the website is easy to use and I don't think I have ever seen such good packaging. Nothing short of a tank driving over the parcel would have damaged the contents.
My order was not received "next day" as promised so I was a little annoyed as I had waited in but as the order wasnt placed until after lunch I didnt make a fuss. It didn't come the next day either so I emailed Hunt's giving them one last chance to make good. They were mortified as they had assumed their supplier had dispatched the goods on time. Anyway they found a new supplier and I received the goods promptly after that. Pleased that they put in the extra effort, shows they do care about their customers.
I ordered 2 packs of James Wellbeloved cat biscuits from this site as they were way, way cheaper than any shop I've found or my local vet - and it was carriage free!!!!! They arrived so soon after ordering that I was convinced the carrier was bringing a delivery to the wrong house. Absolutely brilliant service. I've already recommended Pet Supermarket to friends.
