I received the coat promptly and it was exactly as described - so I'm very pleased. It was better priced than most other online stores. Luckily it fitted perfectly. Had it not been right, I would have had to pay to return. There are other suppliers offering free returns/exchange, which is very attractive if you haven't tried it on.
Another similar supplier had the coat listed for £10 less, with free return, but they did not have my size.
We very much enjoyed showing the sights to our 4-year old on the open top double decker - in the sunshine and without any walking! Good that we could leave the pushchair downstairs.
It was fantastic in many ways - friendly helpful staff, good route, comfortable and clean buses and great commentary. We always managed to find a seat upstairs and didn't have to wait long for a bus. We really enjoyed the included cruise along the Thames too.
Good weather obviously needed to sit upstairs!
A couple of small negatives: in the height of the summer the traffic was terrible, which meant it can take a long time to move around, a couple of times we had real difficulty finding the bus stop (not very clear on the map exactly where the stop was so we wasted quite alot of time), could have the half covered top deck - as other companies do, it was quite pricey for 24 hours.
We waited in all day, the parcel wasn't collected. No one contacted us to let us know. It became my problem to try and sort it out. It's impossible to talk to anyone from Parcel Monkey - they provide a phone number of the courier on their website, but the couriers rightly say, you are a customer of Parcel Monkey, so will not speak to you! They do not offer refunds or any compensation at all, but hide behind their Ts and Cs - which makes it all ok. It has all been very frustrating and a terrible waste of time. I strongly advise you to pay a little bit more and liaise directly with a courier company. In this instance, you get what you pay for!
