We had a horrific experience with Habitat. Bought an Italian sofa set for £3,000 in Oct 2011. When delivered - turned out the 3 units which constitute a sofa were made of all different colours of the fabric. They agreed to do a replacement.
Then IT TOOK 6 MONTHS (I kid you not) to actually get a replacement sofa. Countless emails from our side, phone calls, chasing up - many emails were not even answered by Habitat/Home Retail Group... Absolutely useless so called Customer Service. They do not even try to make good on their promises. When it was escalated to their Resolutions Department I thought the things at least would improve a little. Turned out - they got worse. Those people simply lie to your face - said they'd call and then wouldn't, ignore your emails and make up stories. They caused me so much streess, and I wasted a huge amount of time on chasing them up and trying to find out when they were going to deliver our furniture. And this is after paying £3,000 - the highest price you could find on British high street for a sofa.
Eventually, they inform me about a delivery day, I took time off work - and they did NOT deliver! I won't bother you with details, but when they finally delivered a few days later - the new sofa units were again of different colours of fabric...

Ordered a kettle on Thur, it arrived on following Mon as it was promised. So am very happy with a quick delivery. No hassle, the updates were sent to me when the kettle was dispatched.
