Fair pricing, good stock and friendly staff

I bought a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Custom from Mann's here in Colchester. Lovely guitar and all that, but I guess the store is in focus here. The stock, mainly Fender guitars (which I have absolutely no problem with; I'm a Fender kinda guy), is quite varied. Sure, there are things you won't find in the store, but there's the online store too!

Anyway, I just asked if I could try some guitars, and was led down a flight of stairs to a place I could plug in and give it a spin. They didn't ask "are you going to buy it?" or anything like that in advance, which I have experienced with certain music stores, no. They just handed me the axe, setup the amp, and gave me a smile and a green light to go!

With the purchase I also got a free gigbag, and a free set of strings!

The main point, I feel, is the staff. They seemed to both know very well, and loved, what they were doing. They managed to appear very casual and friendly, while still maintaining an air of professionalism. The can only think of one other music store I've been to in England with a staff nearly that good, so props to them!
