I held my *.co.uk domain name with 123-Reg, transferred from another UK registrar/host when I moved my hosting to the USA in 2009 and really had no complaints about their service. Recently I transferred two gTLD domains to 123-Reg and although the transfer was fairly painless, when I contacted technical support after I never received the authorisation Email, I got the feeling it was a cut and paste response which really didn't address my concerns, but when I contacted technical support again two days later, I got a better response and the authorisation Emails were resent and were received this time, it's just a shame that my issue wasn't addressed on my first contact with technical support, this support issue is the only reason 123-Reg as a registrar got four stars instead of five!
