£7 added to my bill at checkout and I couldn't see why
They had a good product I couldn't find elsewhere from my usual online retailers, but despite saying it was in stock it took 8 days before it was shipped, which isn't acceptable. I wasn't contacted about the delay. I emailed to ask and got no reply, and it was only when I called to ask about it that the situation was explained - that there was a mix up with the stock and they didn't have the colour I ordered in stock. The guy on the phone was very apologetic and helpful, but I should have been contacted before about it, and my email should have been answered, but it wasn't. It won't stop me shopping at Sigma, but I expect a lot better and if it's marginal in price between Sigma and another retailer I trust (e.g. PBK, Wiggle), then I'm likely to choose the other.
