Placed order on 30 March and received an email confirming the order and stating 'Payment will not be taken until the delivery date has been agreed and the despatch process has begun.' My card was debited on the 31 March and I was told by email on the 5 April that the order had been despatched.
The television was delivered by Yodel on the 11 March. . The van driver parked a hundred yards short of my home, placed the carton on his shoulder and carried the item precariously to my door. The container was in a deplorable condition, it was dented and torn in numerous places and one of the four securing clamps was missing. I signed for the package and noted on manifest the damage, described above, and that I had not inspected the contents.
By good fortune the television appears to be undamaged. All in all an unpleasant and unnecessary experience.
