Disgraceful service and attempted purchase

I recently tried to purchase a laptop computer on the site having previously purchased from them with no issues. However on this occasion they told me that my card issuer had said my address did not match. I rectified the small issue that had occured and a very short while after recieved two emails. The first asked for a utility bill over 2 months old and a full scan of the picture page of my passport. This was followed about 30 seconds later by an email saying that my order had been cancelled and to reorder if still wanted the item which I did only to be cancelled again. I then tried to order using a different account set up under my other email and using my other card only to recieve yet another cancellation email. Use this company at your peril, I subsequently ordered a laptop from a different seller and it will arrive tomorrow.

Security is paramount at Ebuyer and as we are a fully online company we need to ensure the person placing the order is the same person the credit/debit card is addressed to.

Therefore, we perform random security checks requesting the information you have listed above. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process any orders on any accounts relating to the person the ID has been requested from until we receive the requested information.

Once we have received the ID, you will not be asked again on any future orders.
