I bought a lovely brown leather sofabed from this company sofa-company.co.uk for only one reason - that they managed to deliver the sofabed within 2 days of my phone call. I came across their website and they said they could deliver the next day. So I gave them a call and they said they would deliver in a week. When I pointed their next day delivery promise on the website, they agreed to deliver in the next 72 hours with a surcharge of £20.
They advised me to have someone with me when they deliver the sofa. When I said why, they said they might not be able to carry the sofa into the home. This was the first I heard on the grounds of health and safety.
When they delivered the sofabed as promised, the courier men refused to bring the sofabed into the home even when we asked them politely. They just left the sofabed in cardboard box on the kerbside and left. I could not believe it. It was raining and I could not carry the sofa inside. I had to call someone to come and help us carry the sofabed inside.
This was a big disappointment.
Otherwise the sofabed is lovely and elegant.

The grill toaster broke down after only 2 months use and I had to call on their premium line to ask for a full refund and they refused on ground of their own terms and conditions that they send a replacement. I had no choice but to accept a replacement. Again it broke down after a month and I could not be bothered to call them as their phone number is a premium number. Very disappointed with their policy.
