Ordered a bunch of assorted candy's from around the world 7 days before my brothers birthday.
Got a email today 6 days after I ordered on their website asking for a further £5 for postage.
Asked them for compensation they declined and were quite rude.
They only deal over email which i think in this day in age is awful.

I do apologise for your less than satisfactory shopping experience, however in that case the delivery address was offshore whilst you chose "UK Mainland" as destination, thus the extra charges - unfortunately no courier will ship to an island for the same cost as to UK Mainland :-( Admittedly, we emailed on 5th working day (shipping schedule for the order was up to 6 working days) for which are genuinely sorry and we have improved since - the order came in when we were just launching our new website and we were struggling a bit. We also offer a faster delivery service for UK customers which may be worth checking out if a delivery is required within a shorter period. We have refunded the payment promptly and in full and we certainly hope you will decide to give us a shot in the future - if you drop us a line we will give you a free Standard Shipping upgrade (UK Mainland shipping only).
The contact details above are not correct in fact; it is true that we maintain only email customer service, however we strongly believe that having the entire conversation in writing helps us check all details and take appropriate action before we reply, instead of keeping our Customers on the phone for ages (when we have to track orders for example via 3rd party sites).
