I don't mind Vodafone, their reception in London is quite bad and their plans are not very flexible compared to some competitors, but I like the costumer service which is generally good and the people are nice and helpful 9 times out of 10.
BUT
THEY MUST STOP USING DPD to handle their phone exchanges. The company is really bad and I don't know anyone satisfied with their service. Please Vodafone, stop using DPD (see DPD review for further details).
I can't possibly understand why a respectable company like Vodafone lets DPD run ALL their phone exchange matters.
I had problems every single time I had to exchange my phone, but today was the worst one: I remained home specifically to wait for the delivery and I was waiting for a text message saying or confirming their arrival as usual. I did not receive any. The guy showed up at my door and I was just doing the back up. Asked him to wait for 2 minutes only and he gave me a very bad attitude saying he was not working with Vodafone and it was not his concern if I had not received a confirmation text and was not prepared for the exchange. He refused to wait for 2 minutes and left very impolitely saying he would "come back later MAYBE", clearly implying he will not. I am utterly disgusted by the attitude of this employee and company. I have not asked for the guy's name but I hope they can track down who he is and teach him how to deal with customers.
