I almost gave up with the company!

I wanted a small section of decking to stand a water feature on, as a birthday present. I ordered it in plenty of time for birthday, especially as they advertise 1-3 day delivery. After a week I phoned to ask about delivery, to be told that it would be dispatched that day and I should expect delivery tomorrow. It didn't arrive so I called again, this time I spoke to Nick, who told me that they were waiting on some parts, and I could definitely expect delivery in 2-3 days time. It didn't arrive. I phoned again to be told that ti would be there the next day. It didn't arrive, despite Nick sending me an email to say it had been dispatched.
I then phoned to be connected with a bloke called George, who told me they were waiting for parts! I phoned again to be told it would be dispatched the next day, and arrive after the weekend. It arrived - 3 weeks after ordering (and a week after the birthday).
There was an error in the delivery, but quite honestly I have given up with them and not bothered to inform them of the discrepancy .
At no point did anyone contact me to say that there would be a delay, and when I called and was told someone would ring me back, it usually didn't happen. And I have been lied to several times while on the phone.
I will never deal with this company again, and advise you to be wary. 2 stars may be being generous.

UPDATE – August 2013

So 3 months after the order, I received a message from Edecks Customer Care, sent via Trustpilot’s messaging service.
They did apologise for the service I had received, which I accept, but tried to blame the haulier, where the haulier had not been part of the problem. However…

They could not explain why I had been lied to several times.

They did not explain why I had to chase them, rather than Edecks contacting me to let me know of the delay.

They did not explain why their website advertises 1-3 day delivery on items that are not in stock, or why when ordering an item that is not in stock, the customer is not informed of this.

I was offered a 10% refund, plus a 10% discount on future orders (as if!) providing I remove this negative review.

I make the following as observations only and not as any sort of comment.
On Trustpilot, the majority of good reviews are from the area that Edecks is based.
One of the good reviewers is a Facebook friend of the Customer Service representative.
On one of the good reviewer’s Facebook page are several links/adverts for Edecks

Bozowi

Personal service

I did not hear anything from Bozowi after sending them my phone. I thought that htis was a dodgy company so left a review criticising them. Within an hour I had received a phone call from them. Apparently I had entered my bank details wrong so they couldnt pay me AND I never received their email telling me of the fact. The couteous man on the phone explained the sittuation and told me what I should do to correct it. Good service, the only question is why it took so long to phone me.
