I went to purchase a leather jacket from Superdry's ebay store that had 15 days left on its listing and a buyitnow price of £74.99 - but Superdry decided to stop the auction and re-list the item at £104.99 (over 20% higher). I contacted them over the issue thinking it must be a mistake but was told the original price was a 'mega sale' price for 2 days. Nowhere on this listing did they indicate this was a temporary lower price and the listing had 15 days left at the lower price. This is quite a underhand method of simply raising advertised prices on whim and misleading customers.
The customer service response was abrupt and did not offer to rectify the situation. Very surprising from such a large and successful company.
