Worst company i have ever dealt with.
You have no idea until you receive your order that items are out of stock - It then takes weeks if not months to get a refund.
Should an item arrive damaged - Useless. Promised to send a courier to collect within 7 days - No courier collects.
Several emails later , several days later reply states they will chase & courier will collect within the following 7 days.
Courier eventually collects on day 14. - A week later , still no refund & they say they have not yet received the damaged item.
Week 4 - Still no refund & 4 days after chasing - No reply.
No contact Telephone number so everything has to be done via Email.
I would strongly advise people to avoid ordering from this shambles of a company. I am almost on the verge of a breakdown after dozens of emails trying to get my refund for the last 4 weeks & i am still no closer to getting it ...... they still have my £100
One word sums them up - Terrible !! ....
Well i keep getting used to good 'ol facebook , then they go along & change it every few months. Now we have timeline. Love it or hate it. Actually , i love it ~ but will it be around for long ? Who knows ....
Been a Just-Eat customer for several years without problem until last weekend. Order no. 21497007.
Basically the restaurant delivered totally wrong food , even that was very very poor quality. ( ordered plain chicken x2 for 2 year olds & was sent spicy chicken covered in onions ). Offer on page said spend over £25 , get a free bottle of wine ~ no wine sent.
Driver was unable to give me a contact number for his restaurant from his mobile which was strange , but got in touch only to be told they would not replace the food nor send the wine. Then had phone put down on me twice. Appalling.
Spent an Hour on Just-Eat chat & they could not get a reply from restaurant , same again sunday until finally restaurant answered & told chat they would contact me & visit me personally on monday with a free meal & bottle of wine & a personal apology for the terrible service.
That did not happen - no contact , no meal , nothing. Contacted chat again to inform them. Again they could not get a reply from the restaurant for several hours. Quote from email :-
"I have spoken to the restaurant owner for you, they have said that they are unhappy with the order you received.
I have checked on our system and spoken to the owner, this restaurant is under new management, this change happened last week. The restaurant have not as yet sent us there new menu to update on the website. They have said they are trying to stick to the menu shown on Just Eat as best they can to avoid customer complaints but as they are new owners this is sometimes not possible."
...So they let the restaurant lie & give poor service & still give no compensation. Basically a cheap bottle of wine cost me £27.
Lesson learned , after using Just-eat for almost 3 years i will not be using them again. Also i did leave a poor review for the restaurant , but it seems Just-eat have removed it. I questioned as to why it was not visible ( they could see it & stated it was on the system ) but would take 24 hours to appear. It's still not there 4 days later Just-Eat.

I am sorry to hear that you have had problems using Just Eat and that the restaurant have delivered the wrong items to you.
I am sorry to hear there was such a delay on our Live Chat service, we do try to answer all chats as soon as possible but during busy period there can be delays.
