Although Primark is good and carries a lot of stuff and at good prices, sometimes the quality of the items is a bit iffy, for instance, I bought 2 pairs of shoes (womens) at £15 each, and they only lasted one season, I was not wearing them every day either, the heels wore down quickly and they got very scruffy looking very quickly. One pair, the dye even ran onto my feet when it rained. Also some of the clothes sizes and styles are odd and it is best to try on stuff first to make sure it 'hangs' right, otherwise it is not a case of 'one size fits all' as some stuff just doesn't look right even though it looks good on the hanger!
This about sums up my experiences with Argo over the past 10 years or so, maybe had a trawl around some shops and other websites, and depending on the item, Argos always comes up trumps with something at a decent price, and there's no hassle with ordering, you can check to see if its in stock and where, and reserve, and then pay at pick up time, what could be better than that.
Having moved around a lot and had no end of address changes over the years, friends and relatives must have given up on ever staying in contact with me and me likewise, and it didn't help that twice I have lost important address books over the years. So, using the Search on Facebook, I have been able to get in touch with long-lost cousins and aunts, people I went to High School with, people I worked with ages ago and used to do stuff with, and more recent friends as well, this is going back even to the late 1960s and 1970s, so just terrific as I don't think I would have found any of these people any other way than through FB. Cheers!
I couldn't find what I was looking for in the usual places, like Boots or the pharmacy aisles in any of the local supermarkets so, having used Chemist Direct before when they had a special on for something I wanted, I searched on their shopping website again and found the product I was now looking for at a decent price + delivery charge, so ordered the maximum allowable, paid online, and it arrived within 4 days. I had to pick it up the Post Office as the box didn't fit thru mailslot, but that was not a problem either. This was not the first time I have ordered thru Chemist Direct and it won't be the last time either!
Very good and responsive and we got just what we required, all done online and this works well and is fairly user-friendly and it's easy to get around the website.
My only critism is that they had said they would send us 2 travel insurance certificates but they only sent us one.
