Gave me a bad headache

I ordered a garden table with four chairs online to take advantage of the 20% offer. After seeing items in store I realised they were too heavy so I cancelled the order by email then had a phone call to arrange delivery. I explained I had cancelled and the lady on the telephone said it was still live and then she cancelled immediately. The next day part of the order was delivered to my house. I rang to cancel again but had to try five times, each time waiting for at least 20 mins. Eventually I got through and spoke to another lady who arranged for items to be collected by courier. She also assured me that she had cancelled the order (again). This morning I had another call to arrange delivery again for the same order. I explained what had happened but she said she couldnt cancel it and had to transfer me again to the automated system. I didnt have to wait so long this time and the man I spoke to assured me he had cancelled it and I shouldnt be troubled again. This has been a very bad experience mainly due to miscommunication and long waits on the phone.
Nevertheless all the employees of homebase I have spoken to have been very helpful and polite. There's just not the right communication. I have ordered a different, lighter garden set which is due to be delivered next Tuesday so hopefully it has all been worthwhile.

Very pleased with service and quality of products

Ordering from Better bathrooms was very simple with a very comprehensive website. There was a bit of confusion over the delivery day. On ordering I was given a Thursday then I received a text saying it would be Friday. On Thursday I had a phone call from the delivery driver wondering where I was. (I think the snow might have had something to do with it They wanted to get out as many deliveries as possible) He waited the few minutes it took me to drive back and was very helpful with unloading etc. in very bad conditions. I was very pleased with the quality of goods and will definitely use Better Bathrooms again in the future. I have also recommended them to the rest of my family.


I'm Really Pleased

I was very pleased when the bed was delivered at the time arranged and the very helpful driver carried it to my dining room so it wouldt be in the way of my front door.

On opening the package I found the bed to be of very high quality and exactly as I had hoped. It was very easy to put together and looks great now that it's made up.

What a pity they dont do matching bedroom furniture.
