Ebay is always a gamble, the auctions are great, the buy it now items, however, can usually be found a little cheaper elsewhere. (Shops or Amazon perhaps). I've had no problems buying from Ebay, sellers are great and it's good to know that Ebay follows up any problems with sellers or buyers. Easy to use website, and connects with paypal so it's super fast!
Originally started ok until problems with the phone line started. My mum was complaining of a crackling noise on the lines and sometimes couldn't hear anything on the phone at all. Calls to customer service did nothing to fix this. The internet began to become so slow (almost as slow as Sky, ALMOST) and would cut off multiple times a day, which was the real problem. We would have to go upstairs to the router to 'turn it off and on again'. Many more calls later they finally sent us a new router, which did nothing to solve either the rubbish phone line or the unacceptable internet connection. Enough was enough, and we phoned them to cancel the contract. We were then sent a £200 cancellation fee?! Politely told them to do one, heard nothing since. I fully recommend BT they provide a brilliant service, no problems whatsoever!
I'm on my second 3 contract and have moved my parents over to 3 also. It is the cheapest I have found, the staff are helpful and it has the strongest phone/internet signal I have found. (And I'm currently on the hilly, Welsh coast). I will keep returning to 3 :)
We had initial problems setting up sky, were told someone was coming round to sort out our phone line problems (a crossed phone line with the neighbour) and no-one turned up.We were then sent our neighbours phone call charges to my bill which took a while to sort out on the phone. We've had the broadband for 8 months now and it is appallingly slow, to the point where some evenings there is no point going on the internet at all. I've spoken and given details to about 4 people on the Sky help twitter account, and was told someone would look into the connection speeds and not one person has got back to me. The amount of people complaining about the broadband speeds it seems Sky know it is not adequate but do not do anything about it. I will be cancelling the end of this month.
