Have had VM telephone / TV / Internet service through cable for years (going back to Telewest / NTL days). We've had a great service so far; on the very few occasions it has gone wrong it has been fixed within an hour for network faults.
We recently had our V+ box giving problems not recording or playing back content. Troubleshooting with the call centre was a bit painful - we got there in the end, but I had to repeat myself a lot. However, they did book in an appointment and VM came out (on a bank holiday too) to replace the box. The new one is much faster and it didn't cost anything.
Made an order with Amazon choosing Express Delivery - ie. next day (a Saturday) before 13:00. Received a text on Saturday at 7am, confirming delivery would be today.
It wasn't delivered by 1pm, but I stayed in assuming it would be late, but would still come as promised in the text message. However it hasn't turned up at all.
It's very frustrating as I've wasted the whole day waiting for the order to come on a dry weekend when I could be out. DPD need to ensure that when they promise to deliver that day, then they stay on until the job is done.
