Not got to the outcome on this one yet, but here it the tale so far. Went in store to see the Fridge Freezer options, we like that you can touch and feel. On returning home with several options, we checked on line where Curry's/Pc World were the best price and item in stock, so ordered immediately for delivery on the Sunday (today). You can track the approx time on line (great idea), and we even had a phone call to say they would be half an hour to arrival (thumb up again)......then it all went very wrong. The driver/mate arrived, so I caught them as they were getting out of the van to direct them to the rear of the property, not over happy, they agreed. Went to meet them round the back and was greated by the mate explaining that he "couldn't take goods off the van unless I signed for them" wasn't happy, but had no choice but to agree. Went round the back of vehicle to see our New Fridge freezer at a 45deg angle where it had obviously fallen over....I joked "I hope thats not mine"...sadly it was!!, having dragged it to the tail lift, they unboxed it to see 2 huge dents in the side.....I now await a return Tomorrow (Monday), with my new item!!! So thanks for that Curry's...........NOT IMPRESSED...A day off work due to incompetent delivery team.
Its now 2 weeks later, and whilst I have received my new fridge freezer (at a completely different time to that agreed....full wasted day). The delivery team on this occasion were A1, however, having complained about the original instance which Curry's agreed to look into, I still await an explanation or apology for the shoddy service and time taken off to receive the item. If you are thinking of buying an item from Curry's, be aware that "certain employee's" dont give a stuff about your goods or you as a customer. WONT BE USING CURRY'S AGAIN, as they do not follow up on your complaint. A simple explanation and the feeling that the issue had been dealt with, could and would have avoided me losing patience with this company.
