On balance, the worst experience of shopping on Amazon.
Order was placed on 26/12/12. Firstly, the product which I received was clearly a returned goods and missed a part. Once contacted the company, I was told that this was a restocking issue and as they had reached end of the product line, could only offer an alternative. I accepted only to have one (same brand, which they did not have another one of) delivered on 14/01/13. This one again was a restocked item and this time broken. I have contacted the company (15/01/13) requesting a refund and I am still waiting for this to happen. Three weeks, two broken appliance is NOT a standard to aspire to.
I have just had a dishwasher delivered, having paid for it to be installed and the old machine removed. The delivery man took one look under the sink and said "No, probably can't tighten the pipe, so won't touch it"(sic). I asked what was the problem, "the waste U bend is kinda in the way" (sic). So I said, I will remove the U bend tube for you so you can have a clear access; "No, I said I won't touch it". So, I said "OK, can you take the old machine way, you don't have to tighten anything"; "No, I said I won't touch anything!". So, I removed the U bend, disconnected the old machine so they could take it away. I then said well, now the access is clear can you connect it, "No I said it is more than my job's worth!"
Unbelievable. Trust me don't buy into the hype of John Lewis, buy from a cheaper outlet, at least if you get s*** service, you haven't over paid.
