Escapade
Quick service and great choice
Bought a count Dracula outfit and some contact lenses to go with the spooky look. I did it all a little last minute but everything was sent very quickly and arrived on time. Choice of costumes on the website is amazing - something for everyone Couldn't be happier
Asda
Middle of the Road
I don't mind Asda but i must admit that I found the choice pretty poor and the prices not that favourable compared to other major supermarkets. I only ever used ASDA because it was closest to me adn I need something quickly, other than that I went elsewhere.
Tripadvisor
A real saviour
Any time I go on holiday I go to trip advisor to check up reviews on the hotel and also the destination. So many people go into Tripadvisor and leave reviews that you really do get a good feel for the hotel and the area and can make very informed choices. I have never been to a bad hotel based on the reviews on Tripadvisor.
Ebay
Rarely use them
E-bay used to somewhere to get a good bargain but sadly no longer. I haven't bought anything from e-bay for a good long while as I can pretty much get anything new cheaper elsewhere on the net. The buy it now prices are often too high compared to other on-line retailers and when you add the over inflated P&P costs you end up with a very expensive item. I only turn to e-bay as a last resort these days. I suppose it is good for second hand items but to be honest not that much better
Amazon
Who can knock them?
I live in Germany and come back to the UK regularly. If ever I want to buy anything I always trawl the net to see where I can get it the cheapest and I would say 85% of the time I don't need to look beyong Amazon. I have bought everything from books to CD's to 9 man tents to luxury knives and every time delvery has been great and the transaction smooth and trouble free. There is almost nothing you can't buy from them. Much better than e-bay that's for sure and more trustworthy - that goes for the private Amazon sellers as well.

I ordered a Vango 36 LED lantern from Taunton leisure as they were the cheapest on the net. Good automated communication verfifying the order and communicating shipping and the item arrived promptly and safely. In all a very good and smooth transaction
