Have had some titles on my list for nearly two years so wonder if they've really got them. Modern technology should tell them that where customers have been waiting for long periods of time for titles then more copies are required.
Overall though a good service worth the money where you need physical media (Discs). Netflix will take there customers that have streaming capability.
Been using them for years and they've always delivered a consistent service of the highest level.
When things go wrong, they put them right. Prices very competitive and you always get the most current UK versions of goods. No old stock and no grey imports. Everyone at SCAN deserves the highest praise. Long may you continue to trade and prosper.
Recently bought a Panasonic cordless phone and Omron blood pressure monitor. Both high-end quality goods. Prices best on internet. Reserved, collected and received money back vouchers.
Yes they do sell cheap goods (as others have said) but some folk want them. They do however do quality and at a good price.
I make a point of avoiding etailers that use their (poor) service.
Recently cancelled my mobile contract as I wanted an iphone and they don't do them. Customer service lady could not have been more helpful as she sorted out my end date for billing, immediately gave me a pac code and then cancelled an internet dongle that I had.
As a longstanding customer I always dreaded having to call them owing to long waits and poor staff.
Looks like they are moving in the right direction.
Some staff have poor product knowledge. Stock levels are usually fairly poor. Website information not always correct. Some products of a very poor quality and not as portrayed in catalogue photos.
However, if you need resisters, capacitors etc quickly (and they have stock) then it's ideal. Better deals available elsewhere if you can wait and shop around. I've been a customer for over 20 years and have seen a decline in service.
Ordered service items for next day delivery (Friday) for which I paid extra. Order was short of a spark plug. Only three sent instead of four. Although the delivery note was signed as checked, it clearly wasn't.
Called customer service who said they would put one in the post and I'd have it Saturday AM. It arrived the following Tuesday.
My business relies on me not letting down my customers. Will only use again if I really have to and not in a hurry for parts.
