We ordered a super king size bed with headboard covers and bedding for £1900 from Dreams in January, we have still not received the full order. The customer service and care is awful.The problem is they have no continuity of their service as the warehouse where the beds are stored before delivery is not owned or operated by Dreams and the delivery company is again nothing to do with Dreams, so as consequence nobody cares about the product or the customer!
When our bed finally came, nearly 7 weeks after we ordered it, the mattress was filthy. The rubbish plastic cover they had put over it had completely come off at one end and had been ripped in the middle. I rang the shop before the delivery men left as I did not want to accept it in that state, they said that they would order us a new one straight away which would take another 6wks!! When my husband came home later that day he then discovered that the head board was the wrong one!!! We rang the shop and they said they would send a new one. A week later when changing the new covers, 3 buttons fell off even before they had gone through the wash.
We rang the shop yet again to say that we were not happy and we wanted some compensation. After many calls from us to customer service (which they should rename as there is no service!!) they have now finally given us £280 discount and 2 new covers. However we are still awaiting the headboard, they have told us it will be June before we get it, thats 6 months after we ordered it! What makes things worse is that I am pregnant and we ordered this bed to make things more comfortable for me. I am 8 months pregnant now and wondering if we will get the full bed before the baby gets here, its easier to make a baby than order a bed! The whole experience has been disgusting!
