Great concept for improving the logistics of delivery drivers whilst offering potential for great customer value.
I first heard about this idea on the radio a few years back and I knew it was fantastic idea straight away.
Delivery drivers can look for jobs to save running an empty vehicle on a return journey. Potential customers get a favourable rate because the vehicle is out on the road anyway. It's one of those rare win/win situations. In fact it's a win-win-win 1) the delivery driver wins, 2) the customer wins, 3) the environment wins.
The reverse auction bidding process ensures value for the customer and the feedback mechanism means good delivery drivers can build a solid reputation for a good service given.

Just a quick review to say that GLS parking worked perfectly for us. Drivers were professional and courteous on both departure and arrival. Mileage and condition of car was recorded (a bit like when you hire a car). Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend to friends.
