Amazon never fail to amaze me with their range, and ability to deliver constently.
My gripe with them are the product descriptions are less than honest, ommitting details that would substantially influence my choice of product-where the product is truthfully made, and even allow deliberately misleading descriptions.
I bought a Rikon of Switzerland can opener, Swiss flags everywhere, "of Switzerland" everywhere, but on reciept of the tool I find MADE IN CHINA in tiny letters on the packaging on the inside!
I don't wittingly buy anything Chinese as a matter of conscience, not only was this MADE IN CHINA it was deliberately mis-sold as Swiss!
So come on Amazon give us the information on which to make an informed and risk free decision, tell us where it's made, if it's MADE IN CHINA say so, and help those of us who care about Chinese atrocities chose appropriately!
B&Q scores by the amount of lines they stock, but they are eye wateringly expensive, selling most products at top dollar, when the vast majority are cheap Chinese imports.
Big they are, wide range they have, but quality or cheap they are not! Despite the big posters to the contrary.
Nice to see they employ mature local people, but I wonder how many work there as a consequence of the Chinese imports that fill the shelves.
Strings direct deliver everything they say they will, which is very nice.
