I recently placed an order with Global for a Ghost mountain bike. After having had a long chat with Jim over the phone, (who gave sound advice and help on sizing etc.) I placed my order and waited for it to arrive. The knowledge of the products that all staff had was exceptional, and a welcome change from a lot of other internet bike stores.
A week later (the bike had to be ordered in as it was an end of season line, I was informed of this delay so it was anticipated and therefore not a problem), I received shipping confirmation that my bike would be arriving the next day, and it duly arrived.
The packaging was substantial, and the bike had clearly been boxed with care. Which was a good thing as the the delivery driver had been driving like an idiot and had thrown most of his parcels onto the side of the box!
On opening the parcel and unwrapping the bike, Global's attention to detail was really evident it was incredibly carefully packed, with all parts of the bike individually wrapped and protected. I just had to put the handlebars and pedals on and I was away. Unfortunately however there was a slight problem due to a manufacturing issue which, after contacting Global, was resolved very promptly and in a more than satisfactory way. In fact to describe their customer service as above and beyond would be an understatement, (thanks again Dave!) so I was delighted with both Global Bike and the product itself. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new bike or accessories, you will not be disappointed!
