I bought a monitor using my own personal credit card. On receipt I was not happy with it so returned it for full refund at my own cost under DSR (Distance Selling Regulations). This is a legal requirement. Ebuyer deducted a 20% restocking fee despite the fact that the monitor was paid for using a personal card with the billing address being my home address. They claim the account is a business account, even though it is abundantly clear this was a personal purchase, and will not back down. Customer support arrogant and unhelpful.
Ebuyer used to have a good reputation for customer service but no longer. I suggest you take your business to a company that appreciates it.
I have used this company a few times now in my capacity as a network/system admin for a large university. Fast responses to queries, friendly, no-fuss service, deliver when they say they will.
They also don't use "business relationship" as an excuse to spam you, unlike many other companies.

Unfortunately, if a business account is raised, even personal orders on the account are classed as business orders. A separate personal account should be used when ordering items for personal use.
I apologise if you found our Customer Service to be arrogant and unhelpful, these comments will be passed along as this is not the usual level of standard we work at.
Kind Regards
Nikki
