We enjoy the shopping and the choice and quality. The floor staff are very helpfull as are deli, bakery and butchers. However, checkout is dreadful. Many staff will not even start until one is poised to start packing their own groceries. Plastic bags are hard to open. Checkout staff actually sit and lag and are not even ppolite (Barnet - Spires). As a business process expert, I could improve your checkout by 150% and lower your cost by 30% within a year with improved customer service
Baggage charges are inflated and when at checking if required, are over inflated. Supervisory staff have NO customer relations or tact. They are very terse and rude (LGW especially) even when we are poplite. (No wonder they are the subect of ridicule on TV). On board services are excellent and on-time service is god considering that most boardingis done away from th terminal where seniors had difficulty climbing the stairs carryng heavy bags with no assistance.
Our experience of odering over the web was very good. The people were responsive to additional requests and were able to address the order quickly (a rare thing when dealing with on-line orders). The product arrived on time and was as described on the net.
