Customer service is good. Cost of produce has gone up, but I think this is generally with all supermarkets. Good range of products. Stock levels are usually good for online shops.
1 star deducted, as Tesco's still lack affordable free-range meat products in their range and also still insist on using aspartame in virtually all their diet drinks, standard drinks, yoghurt products, children's drinks and medicines.
Aspartame, has been linked to tumours in rats - I won't expose my kids to these kind of chemicals, so am being swayed towards Asda, as they have started to drop aspartame as an artificial sweetener in their own brand products, to follow on recent progress made by major soft drinks brands eg. the Coca-Cola company.
So, come on Tescos - get with the programme! Let's see some healthy alternatives please. - thank you!
The only reason Amazon lost out on 1 star from me, is because they use Yodel as one of their couriers, which is a shame. The rest of Amazon's customer service is fab!
When Yodel delivered a large heavy lawnmower in a box to my home, which I ordered from <external link removed>, they simply dumped the box outside the front of my house, rang the doorbell and then took off in the van.
I am currently 8.5 months pregnant and could not possibly risk lifting the box indoors. The driver saw me and simply drove off and left me with this huge heavy box. He could obviously see I was heavily pregnant, but still chose to leave me with this box. I had to wait until my husband arrived home to move the box away from the front of my house. I was really worried all day, that the box would be stolen from outside my house.
I contacted <external link removed> and complained about Yodel, as not only does this poor service affect pregnant, disabled or elderly people, it also puts companies at risk of having goods stolen, if they are simply being dumped outside houses. After all, Yodel had no way of knowing whether I was at home, they simply rang the doorbell, dumped the box and drove off.
After contacting <external link removed>, they advised that they would be following up my complaint and agreed with me, that this particularly delivery of goods was unacceptable and they apologised on Yodel's behalf.
I really hope I don't have to have anything delivered by Yodel again. However, if they continue in this vain, I doubt the company will survive long. Yodel used to trade under the name HDNL and changed their name, after leaving a string of unhappy customers, see Watchdog article <external link removed> It appears that they are up to their old tricks once again, despite the new name and new promises! Be warned if you are ordering goods from <external links removed> to name a few...
Pet Supermarket offers great value for money on thousands of pet products and also offers free delivery. I have used Pet Supermarket on several occasions and have never been disappointed with their customer service. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone.
