I ordered a hard drive and paid via paypal on 5th April...I didn't receive the item. I sent email after email requesting that I be contacted, and heard nothing for about a month. I then received a call from the owner of the company, [Name], who advised me that he wasn't sure what link I had followed but they no longer supply the item that I had managed to purchase!!
[Name] assured me that he would sort the situation out in the next few days by either sending me the item or refunding me. It is now 2nd June, and I have heard and received nothing!!! I have emailed...LOTS...and had no response. I have rang [Name] mobile and still no response.
I am extremely frustrated and saddened by this experience...fortunately the first I have had...but it's companies like MOBY MEMORY that cause a bad rep for buying off the internet.
I am not planning to give up just yet....even if it means a wee visit to the registered offices.
Please Moby Memory, just give me my £39.99 back!!!!!!
It is now 14th July and still nothing. I did receive an email on the 18th Jun askine me to stop contacting mobymemory via their website as the problem was with Paypal. On contacting Paypal I was advised that the transaction of £39.99 went through on that day to Santrade Limited who Moby Memory trade under.
Again I spoke to 'the owner' and he assured me that he would do his best to sort this out and refund my money. He said that he dealt with orders worth thousands on a daily basis so why what would he want with my £39.99!!
NOTHING...I HAVE RECEIVED NOTHING. So I shall endeavour not to let Moby Memory forget about me. Let the emails continue...daily now I think.
Do not touch MOBY MEMORY unless you desire rubbish customer service and want to give your money away
