The service from DigitalRev was excellent and surpassed many UK electronic sellers, who can take up to 5 days to deliver. My Sony E-Mount lens was ordered on May 1st and delivered to my address in the UK on May 3rd - I didn't even realise international shipping could be that quick!
The parcel was very well packed and the contents in pristine factory packed condition.
If DigitalRev can continue to undercut UK prices I will use them in future for my camera needs.
The only potential downside is that I assume goods purchased from HK will not be eligible for a UK warranty (classed as grey imports), but should anything go wrong with the lens or future purchases, then I just hope DigitalRev can deal with the return in an efficient and painless manner as they were to deal with when buying the goods in the first place.
Not as easy to navigate as Just-Eat and the order status isn't too intuitive, instead of a live update, you receive an email to confirm whether the order was successful or not.
Would be nice to see full reviews even if there are less than 3 reviews, as this would be helpful when ordering.
Don't like the way that you have to select the item on the menu for it to then go into a pop-out menu for you to make your choice, just not quick enough.
Would be nice if PayPal was added to the payment type too.
Ordered on the Sunday and both items delivered on Tuesday. Despatch confirmation received by email.
No complaints here, the transaction went very smooth and I am very happy with the service.
Cheapest prices on the net coupled with a discount code, very happy chappy! Definitely use Tooled-up again.
Ordered a tall bathroom unit which was processed quickly.
Four days after placing the order I receive a call from the courier to confirm a suitable date and time for delivery. All arranged ok.
The day of delivery came, the courier phoned half an hour in advance to confirm they were on the way.
When the delivery arrived, the delivery driver wheeled the pallet (1.5m x 2m) down my street as he thought the street was too narrow for his van.
As there was cars parked up against the pavement to me house I suggested that the driver unwraps the pallet on the road and that we carry just the unit into my garden, fine.
I signed his forms, went to open my doors so I could carry the unit in and then noticed that the driver left the pallet in the middle of the road!
I phoned him (as he had earlier phoned me from his mobile to arrange delivery), and he eventually answered saying that they leave the pallet with the customer... now what would I need this monstrosity of a pallet with a 6ft tall side panel attached?
After eventually breaking down the pallet in the middle of the road, and carrying the bits to my garden, I go indoors to unwrap the bathroom unit.
Now, where the handles had been reversed by Bathshop321 and screwed back on from the outside (so the handles are inside the unit for transit), black permanent marks were left on the outside doors where the screws had been pressed against the unit! Why they just didn't remove the handles completely before despatch is beyond me.
I can't afford to take more time off work for a replacement, so I guess I will have to live with the marks!
Although the unit is well made and smart looking in my bathroom, I will think twice before using this company again.
