Country House Outdoor

Simply the best!

Country House Outdoor are simply the best internet company I have ever dealt with.
Orderd a pair of Barbour stud on leggings before Christmas, they arrived very promptly -but I'd orderd the wrong size.
Spoke to a very helpful person at CHO and returned them (free postage) for replacement. Got a call from CHO late afternoon on Christmas Eve to say that they didn't have my size in stock - good service point one!
I said I could wait and asked CHO to send the leggings when they could.
Got a call just after Christmas to say that they were expecting new stock from Barbour on Friday 11th Jan 2013 - second good service point!
Leggings arrived on the 17th Jan. Fantastic service, thank you!


Heavy Duty tubular latch - Not so good!

I purchased 12 heavy duty architectural latches as replacements for some cheaper and very sub-standard units bought from another large internet supplier.
Sadly the latches (No:370941) are no where near the quality I was expecting, of the 10 fitted so far I have had to dissemble and adjust 4 latches just to make them work properly and 2 of the others are quite rough in operation - not really acceptable
So far that is a 60% failure rate!
I realise that these latches aren't the dearest in the world but they should all operate properly - in my opinion Ironmongery Direct have a fairly serious quality control issue with the latch manufacturer that needs urgent attention.
