superb quality price and delivery

Owning a number of houses which we rent out semi furnished we sometimes need to urgently get hold of beds and masstresses.
We've used Mattressman several times now and always been impressed with the quality price and delivery service of both the
bedframes and mattresses.

would have no hestitation in recommending Mattressman.

poor sales/after sales experience

when trying to purchase a motorhome I visited Brownhills at Newark several times. I need an Automatic as my wife has arthritus and as soon as we mentioned same they seemed to lose all interest and basically ignored us. having given up with Brownhills we eventually purchased an automatic RollerHome from a dealer in Leeds.

After a while we needed to get a service and habitation check..
and friends, who had always told us how poor the service dept was at Brownhills, told us that Brownhills had appointed a
new Service Manager and Staff and they hoped that there would be a marked improvement....unfortunately the online
quote page for Brownhills Service only works for vehicles purchased there and after much telephoning (does'nt anybody pick up a phone there ??) we eventually got hold of a young lady who was as much use as a 'chocolate teapot'

We telephoned Rollerteam who informed us that a number of their clients had poor experience with Brownhills and they would be more than happy to accept a Fiat Dealers stamp
in the Mechanical Warranty Book...and any Caravan/Motor Home Approved Workshop's stamp in the RollerTeam Warranty thats what we'll get.

I can't see me trading with Brownhills in the future.

Promise much deliver little

Ordered 3 units (fridge freezer washer dryer and dishwasher) prices were. Very competitive and the site said all were in stock and could be delivered in 24 hours
So placed order. When order confirmed suddenly delivery was in 7 days. Was away on the new delivery date so arranged for 10 days on day they were supposed to be delivered found out by calling them there was further logistics problem and delivery had to be rescheduled week later day before they were due to be delivered I checked and found out only 2 units were coming....last one was delayed a further 10 days. Cancelled order as had enough and went to local store who delivered in 24 hours at prices similar
To appliances direct. Seems to me they hold no stock and tell you anything for a sale.
The one good thing is they refunded my money prompty

Hi Anthony Flynn,

I am really sorry that you had a bad experience when it came to the delivery of your items. We do very very occasionally encounter a problem with stock from manufacturers which can unfortunately delay expected delivery. This however should have been dealt with better, and for that I apologise again.

tried hard to satisfy their customer

bought a (fairly obscure Korean Made) new PVR and wanted a spare Remote Control. Bought one from Remote Controls Shop but upon arrival it did not work. When I informed them they despatched a replacement immediatly together with a 'returns pack' for the original one. unfortunatly the replacement did not work either so sent both back in the 'returns pack'.

On the phone Remote Controls Shop explained that they work on the latest release of the RC Codes but sometimes Manufacturers
issue an updated code and forget to tell everyone.

RC Shop were unable to help so promptly returned my payment to my Credit Card.

All-In-All even tho they were unable to supply a working RC I
was impressed at the service/speed and helpfulness of RC Shop.
