Fast. Efficient. Good value for money... These are just some of the words that are not used to describe ParcelForce.
While it is largely my own fault for not researching the company in the first place, one would expect certain requirements to be met when paying for a service. My experience has been largely disappointing thus far.
Having sent a package to a friend in the USA, I opted to pay for the 48hour Express Delivery service to ensure the package would reach it's destination in a timely fashion. I checked the FAQ on the company's website that assured me that if my package (sent Thursday) did not arrive on Saturday, it would be delivered on the Monday (no delivery on Sundays) and I was absolutely fine with that. I can appreciate the difficulty of logistics and an extra day to me was acceptable. Monday came, and still no evidence of my package arriving. After contacting customer services to query why my tracking information could not tell me whether it had arrived on the Monday as expected, I was not met with a response until the following day, in which time I had already confirmed that it hadn't. It is now Wednesday and my package has still not reached it's destination.
My patience is very much being tested now as I do not expect to pay nearly £70 for a 48hour delivery and have it arrive a week later. While I appreciated the help from a member of staff I contacted, the company itself is offering a professional service and should stand by their promise to deliver within a specified time frame. If something unforeseen has caused a delay, it would be courteous to offer some kind of compensation, such as refunding the difference between their '48hr Express Delivery' and the standard '3-5 business days' service, as that is the service I have seemingly been overcharged for.
NOTE: I rewarding two stars because their saving grace is the few members of staff I contacted were quite helpful and there has been no malicious intent on the company's part. It is simply their inefficiency and failure to meet deadlines that makes ParceForce a company to avoid.

JustTVStands were fast, reasonably priced and the quality and design of their products are amazing. Putting together flat-pack furniture has always been a task I've loathed for numerous reasons, but this was the first time I've actually enjoyed putting furniture together. Everything was clearly labelled, precise and most importantly, simple. Genuinely can't think of anything that could be improved upon - they absolutely nailed it.
